Local food is one thing which I believe most Singaporeans who live away from home will undoubtedly miss. Over my two and a half week trip back home, I managed the following (and much more actually).
durian . chwee kueh . roti prata . kaya toast . nonya dumpling . dim sum . muah chee . herbal egg . curry puff . longevity bun . xo carrot cake . cheong fun . rojak . kueh tutu . barley & ice milo
pig intestine porridge . nasi briyani . laksa . satay . fried fish noodles . char siew rice . kangkong/chicken wings/stingray . beehoon goreng . fishball noodles . prawn noodles . bakuteh . chicken curry with bread . wanton noodles . char kway teow . chicken rice
Putting all the pics together now, I'm just thinking..gee, what obscene voracity...
I am finally back in Madrid and have to urgently re-unite with my elliptical trainer.
How can something so good be so bad?
